A seasoned designer who is making the switch to full stack development. It may appear to be a significant shift, but it is not. One thing you'll discover about me is that I enjoy creating and bringing ideas to reality. This portfolio's entire topic will be that. Bringing amazing creations to reality necessitates wearing several hats.
I was born and raised in Meru with artistic parents my mum being a part time pottery instructor and my dad being a part time professional painter.I was immersed in arts at a very tender age where i fell in love with creating things from scratch. At school was when i was introduced to the first computer at class 5 to cut the long story short. It was love at first site.GET IT?...Love at first SITE?
I later attended a Chinese college based in Nairobi called Shang Tao Media Arts College where I majored in creative computing and honed my 3D modeling, graphic design, and 3D animation skills. But this wasn't enough, and before I graduated, I was hired by Good Idea Creatives, a media firm.
I didn't start at Good Idea Creatives, to be sure. I began working in a print shop called Midas Concept when I was 16 years old, and this is where the narrative begins. I began designing and printing book covers, event banners, and school Jersey in high school, and I also had the unique privilege to design our school bus before buses were required to be yellow. Later, the proprietor of the print shop recruited me on vacation to work with his team of ten designers, and that was how I obtained my first job.

Here is my well documented resume please enjoy
As a graphic designer, my job entailed communicating with clients about the design they desired and how they wanted it produced. This provided me with a clear grasp of how to deal with one-on-one clients.
Working as a Junior Art Director, my responsibilities included managing the equipment needed for the shoot, the budget and resources required, scouting for locations, assembling the crew needed for shooting, editing, and composing, as well as motion graphics and video editing. Working at GoodIdea equipped me with a thorough understanding of management, cinematography, quality composition, working under duress, and, most importantly, budgeting.
I worked in web development and UI/UX at Clifford Technologies, where my responsibilities included liaising with clients on how they wanted their website to look and how it would effect their business, as well as assisting them in understanding the potential that websites offered. Then, with the client's blessing, I was tasked with building the site and deploying it. Finally, I was to maintain the site. This gave me a better understanding to the realm of web development from something I used to do as hobby to a career
The first time I worked with over 50 colugues, Kulmi Digital was a wonderful place to work. My job was to design social media visuals, and because I was so fast at it, I got promoted to work in the web department. Working in the web department exposed me to the ins and outs of the development world, from front end to back end. Working here taught me how to communicate and coordinate with a devoted team, as well as how to improve my presentation and sales skills, as I was responsible for selling the SaaS products we were developing to clients.
Aetlantiq had a small team because they were an electronic company, but I enjoyed working here part-time because I was schooling there other half. My responsibilities were to use technology to drive their sales, so I configured a web app where they could keep track of their inventory and shipping rates from various shipping vendors, as well as keep track of their products across other ecommerce stores and their vendors. Working here taught me how to multitask and work independently to tackle challenges that directly affected the business. It was a pleasure to work with such inspiring bosses.
Sanaa World is made up of three parts: Sanaa Brands, Sanaa Marketing, and Sanaa Technology. At first, I worked in Sanaa. As a freelancer, I worked on their website Sanaa Brands in early 2019. Later, joined Sanaa Marketing to assist with their marketing efforts. I worked part-time as a graphic designer, creating social media content. Then, I joined their tech department, which is energetic and enjoyable. Now I work full-time as a web developer and UI/UX designer, developing and designing websites and apps for clients. My responsibilities include monitoring app design and development, deployment and maintenance and finally training on the product .
This is some but not all of the projects I have workedon through my years experience I hope you enjoy and dont forget to ♡ LIKE WHAT YOU SEE.
